This self-report measure assesses concerns and distress related to body shape and perceived weight. The Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) is commonly used to characterize the severity of body dissatisfaction and associated preoccupations that may be clinically relevant in the context of eating- and weight-related concerns.
The instrument consists of 34 items and typically takes about 7 minutes to complete. The Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) was developed by Cooper, P.
